Regency Premium Lawn Turf
Our fine Regency lawn turf is aimed at low wear applications where a show lawn feel
is required. The deep luxurious greens, and slower growing properties of the grasses
and topsoil we use to create our Regency lawn turf creates a lush carpet of green,
ideal for stately homes and gardens, driveways, or any other low wear application.
Over the decades we have produced several new turfs with differing properties, but
our Regency turf has stayed pretty much the same throughout our history. We believe
that if it isn’t broken don’t fix it, and our Regency turf has consistently delighted
customers and exceeded their expectations throughout the years. If you have a need
for a lush carpet like lawn in York then our Regency lawn turf is exactly the turf
you are looking for.
However the nature of the grasses we use to create this lush green effect requires
the use of specific grass types and these often require a higher level of maintenance
and care than our more robust ranges of turf. To maintain the lush feel, fertiliser
programs will be required specific to the seasons requirements. The heavily mown
nature of shown lawn turf and lack of ryegrass also reduces the turf self seeding
abilities so reseeding maybe required if heavy wear or other damage occurs. With
this in mind we generally only recommend our Regency turf to professional, or more
experienced home gardeners. To make this care and maintenance easier we have created
a range of specific lawn fertilisers that meet the requirements of the grass at
each stage of the year.

Our turf is often cut to order, with very little stock pre-cut. This ensures that
your order spends the minimum amount of time out of the soil as possible. Please
ensure the best possible rooting by following our turf laying guide, and making sure your planned lawn is prepared to receive
the turf as much as possible prior to delivery. Leaving your turf standing while
you prepare the soil will age the turf rolls, and may delay the rooting process
of the turf.
